Feed My Starving Children

We have a goal of 20 people for Feed My Starving Children on November 19th!  Right now, we are at 12 so we only have 8 more positions to fill, but we need to make sure that we do fill them!!!!  Sign up ASAP so that we can reach our goal!  This is for both Jr and Sr High Youth!  Parents are welcome to join us as well!

Sr High New Event!

On October 30th, from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm, we will be having a pizza and a movie night here at King of Kings for the Sr Youth. Please submit requests for pizza and let me know if you will be attending so we know how much pizza to order!

Office Hours

Since I am only part-time at King of Kings, I have recently been hired to work part-time at JCPenney in the Maplewood Mall as well.  Because of this, my office hours at King of Kings will no longer be as consistent.  My work hours will be posted on the youth room door and also available in the office.  One consistency is that I will be at King of Kings from 7:30-4:00 every Thursday (except during the lunch hour in which I will usually be gone).  When I am in the office, feel free to stop by and say hello.  My door is always open!

Sally will be gone for a few days...

I will be gone on October 20-22.  I will be attending the MNS District Education Conference and then heading to Camp Omega for the Junior High Youth Gathering.

Mystery Dinner Canceled

The Mystery Dinner on October 28th has been canceled due to the events involving CA.  Watch for information in the future regarding a new event.

Tragedy

We have experienced a tragedy in the events that affected CA during Homecoming weekend.  If you are unaware of what happened, follow this link for information.  Please share your comments, questions, and concerns in the comments section.  On Sunday, the Sr. High Bible Study will also be a discussion about what has happened along with hearing God’s eternal promises.  Keep the CA family and everyone else who was affected in your prayers.

Important Reminders!

Jr Youth – In order to attend the Youth Gathering at Camp Omega, you must register by October 9th.  Registration forms are available on the youth room door.

Sr Youth – RSVP for the Mystery Dinner by October 10th by signing up on the youth room door!  This is needed to assigned characters!
